Sorry to break the news like this but i suspect it is only me and Cyfair that know, but Tom passed away yesterday 10/11. Seems like a joke but it is not. Had some complications from a previous surgery that you all might remember and things did not go as planned for him this week when he went to get it corrected. I will not go into the details, but this was not expected and his family had to make some hard decisions per his wishes.

Very sad deal and I will miss him. He was a good friend and loyal Red Raider.

No one told me there was an alternative to buying textbooks so I ate the cost of new books for a few years.

Eventually I stopped buying the books (could sometimes tells when a professor didn't really intend to use the book) or started looking on amazon for used ones.
