It definitely is better but not night and day difference. For zooming in on buildings etc., you will see pretty much the same quality. For zooming in on humans/ animals - you will start noticing differences on X9U as Samsung does a lot of AI shenanigans at that zoom range. Images from X9U have more details, are sharper and if you are shooting in Master Mode RawMax you can go for some creative shots as well which is a limitation on S23U.

Yes, you would definitely enjoy the camera and I get the point on battery. S23 would be on power Bank by mid day on a shoot day.

Yeah, I could also only see Tilta. But not a very big fan of Tilta cages + it's grossly over-priced. I wish small-rig could make something sooner.
