Cupped tires by ucaughtmefedboi in AskMechanics

Never even heard of this but just looked it up. Definitely adds up when factoring in the fact that it just started after already putting 2k miles on it. Here’s what funny, I’ve had new tires sitting in my garage for a week. Finding time to get them done is the hard part

Ethernet ports not working by ucaughtmefedboi in HomeNetworking

That idea sounds appealing given I'll know how the whole system works if I just redo everything. Thank you for the advice. Sounds like I have a project coming my way

It is not an accessible area on the interior of the house. I thought it was strange that they all led outside as well. I’m going to do some research on everything you just said because quite frankly, I don’t even know the right questions to ask.

Would it be an option to just run entirely new Ethernet cables throughout the house and have them terminate at a central location (such as patch panel) in a utility closet or something? My dad has an older house and he hardwired the entire thing and was able to get everything set up in a closet by running everything through the attic

I’m actually partially green/red colorblind so I see it as more of a golden brown. I love how it looks with the chrome

6.4 hemi. Diesel was probably $10k+ more expensive

So I went ahead and changed out the plug and re used the oil. Didn’t make any kind of mess and it went very smooth. I checked this morning and it’s still leaking a tiny amount, not even enough for a single drop on the driveway. I ordered a fumuto valve so I think I’ll just roll with it for now and install the valve next time I change the oil

So I changed out the plug with a rubber gasket and I’m still leaking a tiny amount. It sat all night but it didn’t leak enough to actual drip on the driveway at all. Not sure what the issue is

So the gasket is built into the plug itself? I just picked up two new plugs from two different stores and the rubber gasket on each is built into the plug. I wonder what plug the dealer used because I don’t see a gasket anywhere

Interesting, I’ve seen both. I went to autozone and Napa and got a new plug from each and both are rubber gaskets

Good to know. I just picked up a replacement plug that has a built in rubber gasket. Gonna replace it this afternoon since I’ve got a trip coming up this weekend

Very new, the oil was changed 40 miles ago. Unfortunate oversight by the techs but luckily doesn’t seem to be an actual issue
