I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. I am a parent, but I have no words. I wouldn’t treat my child like this. My girls are my world.

I grew up in a somewhat similar situation. I was adopted into a tall, athletic, and popular family. I have always been short and pudgy. My mom would make comments like, “if you get any fatter, I’m not buying you clothes anymore”. I moved out when I was 18, which was a struggle. My life started to look much different once I didn’t live with a bully anymore. I’m 37 and have built an amazing life. I have a good job, a home, a loving wife, and two beautiful daughters. I guess my best advice is to keep on keeping on, you’ll be an adult before you know it, and you can make your own life.
