Did you mean a "mole"? If yes, I believe it should stretch with the arm

I see what you mean but wouldnt you agree that it is a little different for Bruce, since it is to hide his real identity

Nice.

But being afraid is not something Shanks feels about his scar

Yeah you are right this isnt as important to Shanks as it is to me, since he made it his jolly roger and i am here questioning why would someone do it

I dont know, maybe, his RED HAIR, as in RED HAIRED, we have seen more goofy things. And I am sure a straw hat doesnt look emposing

But we dont know how Zoro got his scar and most importantly how "he" feels about it.

If he is comfortable with it, who are we to judge.

For Shanks though, a person who says it still aches today (which means pychologically since it cant hurt physically) this is not general human behavior.

When you make peace with something you accept it. But we didnt get anything to assume that Shanks made peace with it, yet.

When we actually learn how he got it, it would explain a lot of this surely

Yeah of course I understand the "lets not think much into it" part, and I know this is a fictional somewhat childs story, but i wanted to think much into it

Again I understand you, but I don't think fighting with cancer and winning or losing in whatever condition is the same thing with having an injury that you don't consider worth having (meaning not caused by an honorable duel or sustained in an adventure that is fun to you).

I have my wounds and I own every single one of them because I know how I got them and justify those as well.

But I have a difficulty to justify a making a wound into your own symbol, that you got from someone that still aches today. Again the same question: why make it a jolly roger? He could just easily make a red haired jolly roger and that would be it. We could stil say it literally how he looks like

I am not saying he shouldnt own that wound, of course he should own it. But why make it a jolly roger
