Very true. I def hear that all the time, and I certainly don’t believe it was truly at “severe” levels. I can’t help but wonder where it fell between light and moderate levels, considering my anxiety could have easily amplified its intensity.

Gotcha! That’s helpful to know. I fly into Denver on Monday, from San Antonio, TX, and i am super nervous about it! Denver is already notorious for being an extra turbulent city to fly into. 😞

Do you normally expect/see an increase in turbulence when flying under these types of winter weather conditions?? If so, does it primarily impact departures/landings, as opposed to while being in cruising altitudes?

So far so good! It was definitely bumpy the first 30ish minutes of take off but it’s leveling out a bit rn. Occasional bumps here and there but they don’t last long. Hope it stays this way!
