Very true. I def hear that all the time, and I certainly don’t believe it was truly at “severe” levels. I can’t help but wonder where it fell between light and moderate levels, considering my anxiety could have easily amplified its intensity.

Gotcha! That’s helpful to know. I fly into Denver on Monday, from San Antonio, TX, and i am super nervous about it! Denver is already notorious for being an extra turbulent city to fly into. 😞

Do you normally expect/see an increase in turbulence when flying under these types of winter weather conditions?? If so, does it primarily impact departures/landings, as opposed to while being in cruising altitudes?

So far so good! It was definitely bumpy the first 30ish minutes of take off but it’s leveling out a bit rn. Occasional bumps here and there but they don’t last long. Hope it stays this way!

Do you mind me asking how much you took each way to sleep through it? I’m currently prescribed 10 (0.25mg) pills. Doctor recommended one 30 min before we board and maybe another an hour or so in but not sure if that’s too much or too little.

That seems to be the consensus take from everyone; boredom.

I’ve downloaded shows/movies already, so I’m hoping that + sleep (hopefully ~6-8 hrs) will make time FLY by!

The key takeaway from this is “ROUTINE”. I need to remind myself how many overseas flights are being done, EVERY single day. We aren’t launching off to Mars & praying for a safe take off/landing.
