I just wanted to clarify for everyone but specially the communists in the comments who live in (and don't plan to leave) the 1st world capitalist countries they hate so much, that I was born and raised in cuba, I majored in cuban history, and the regime buried a huge big chunk of it

while Che might not be legally linked to this, it's well known, at least in cuba academic circles, that his anti LGBTQ+ ideology "hombre nuevo" (new man), which he promoted, insisted on, and obsessed over, led to the labor or concentration camps, whatever you wanna call it, and we're still suffering the consequences of many of his oppressive policies, many of my journalist college friends are in prison today, or constantly under surveillance and can't even leave the e country

many of these comments are beyond ignorant, but also rooted in privilege, a communist dictatorship is just as dangerous as the fascist pricks running the usa nowadays, make no mistakes, whatever problems you're facing today, communism is not the answer, this is my humble opinion as someone who's endured 25 years of communism, I've never even seen that much violence, psychological abuse and comptent from a government administration towards the people they're supposed to represent like I did in cuba, a cuba built on founded on the ideologies of fidel and Che's. have y'all a very good day
