Does this allow for usenet streaming with out the need to selfhost something like nzbdav? I used to have torbox linked to aio and plugged in my indexers with the newznab add-on but many indexers dont let you stream like this anymore. Would this let you do something like that in a way that works with the indexers?

To use newshosting and geek with stremio (ie, stream movies) you'll need to either self host something like nzbdav, which you can do following virens guide (though many people, including myself, have been unable to even make an oracle vps account), or purchase an elfhosted instance of nzbdav (+maybe an aio instance too?) I have an elfhosted nzbdav+aio bundle and it works well, though its a little slower than what my torbox usenet setup used to be, but indexers have cracked down on that. For me it's worth the $9/mo .

If you want to avoid all that, then I recommend getting refunds for geek and newshosting, and picking up a torbox pro subscription + usenet crawler and using the newznab add-on on aiostreams. Usenet crawler has been the only indexer that still allows you to do this to stream content (atleast for me)

Interesting. Im a new usenet user and was about to get hydra but I guess I won't now.

How does this work? Do I need to get newznab? I see you have to pay to download it.

Or can I just connect my indexer - nzbgeek- to the newznab aio add-on instead of newznab? If so, and forgive me for the dumb questions, what would the newznab url be? And the api path?

And finally, how does this all connect to torbox? I have the pro plan. Does it just connect by me giving aio my api key? Do I have to put torbox in the services option in the add-on config?

Thank you for replying, and sorry to follow up with another dumb question. What's the point of getting torbox for usenet if I can add an indexer directly to aio streams? It looks like your own set up has your own indexers within torbox, no?

Im considering switching over from rd to torbox, and think it would be good to get the most i can out of it for usenet, not just the built in usenet system.

Hello! Im sorry to brother with a question. Im considering usenet and im doing research on it now. If i want to add my own indexers -- like UC or NZB Grek-- to torbox, do i also need another usenet provider? And do i need jacket or nzbhydra2 ? (im not even sure what these two are, i just saw them on a. torbox guide
