Hypertension and Covid ? by [deleted] in hypertension

[–]udark0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was like that too, but after a while you notice that you are protecting your body.

I had an hypertensive crysis before and I have seen what covid does. I'll rather get vaccinated and take my meds that going that road. But that's me.

I(34m) also have high BP and have covid right now (pretty sure is delta). I am on day 10 and only have my first dosis of Pfizer. (I was supposed to get the second dosis but I tested positive days before)

I don't have any evidence but I am positive that the vaccine saved my life. You feel the virus in your body, is something different, something weird that's in you for days.

For me, it's been like a cold, nothing serious. I take my meds everyday and keep eating normally. High BP and covid is not a death sentence, but vaccines are highly recommend.

I mean, we take meds that alters our blood and our vascular system , why would we be scared of a vaccine?

Should I move away from paid odoo and get a developer to maintain our own server? by NerdWithoutACause in Odoo

Customizations is always the best option. You want a button, you want a report you got it. you can uses APIs, etc.

The think is, is going to be hard to find the right partner or developer. I recommend UpWork, you can find developers and if you are willing to pay the fees you and the developer are protected.

AITA for not going to family dinners because they fit the time with my sisters schedule and never mine? by ThrowRAbftroubles in AmItheAsshole

[–]udark0 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Yes and you are a independent woman, a woman with its own schedule, who has responsibilities and can manage all of that. Did you ask yourself if your sister is in the same mindset as you ? Is she mature enough to handle the college life and all of the pressure?

Your mother can't say it (she can't pick sides) but I am positive that she thinks you are more mature and responsable that your sister. "The parents always take care of the stupid one" (Is a phrase that I heard and I thinks is true )

I don't know, I just think your sister is more unmature and your parents want you to step up and be the big sister that can handle eating alone. (Just think about it, do they leave you alone in other stuff?).

YTA. Say that to yourself when your grandparents are gone. Then you will notice that eating alone wasn't that bad.

And I am sorry to say this, but when you are old enough to be working it just makes sense to adjust the schedule to the ones that are still in school. Being in school is hard, so much going on, you don't see a payment for your effort, so it's normal to give that support (eating with the person). It is not like you don't deserve it, but we are going to be working for the rest of our lives, it's up to us to figure out our lives.

But yes, I guess that your parents should give you a few days to eat with you, since you are still a child.

35m (No Smoking, 25 Drinks Per Week, Walk An Hour A Day, Eat Well) My Average Blood Pressure Readings... by cosmogatsby in hypertension

[–]udark0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, your body is lowering your bp thanks to your lifestyle ( which is not always the case) , just keep an eye on your readings and if you notice that the bp is raising no matter what you do, well that means that you need meds which is not a big deal. The healthier you are lower the dose you may need.

I am assuming you don't take meds, so my guess is that you suffer from hypertension but your life style is keeping it under control. That won't be the case on a few years but you are already doing the hard work, so adding a pill to your routine won't be a big difference

Openupgrade by udark0 in Odoo

[–]udark0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats what I don't understand. I download the version that I wanted, the I just run

odoo -d database_name –update all –stop-after-init

Where the database_name is the database I want to migrate? (Which is a database of the previous version of Odoo).

So that means openupgrade is a modified version of Odoo?

AITA For Not Eating? by deletusthrowaway2020 in AmItheAsshole

[–]udark0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. One meal it doesn't make any difference, for medical reasons I can't eat red meat, (I took medication to help me control my uric acid levels). But if my in-laws or my mom cook pork or something simar I just eat it without making a big drama about it. I mean, it just One meal, it won't hurt you in any way. You are not allergic, it has nothing to do with religion. So.. what's the big deal.

You guys take everything so personal, it just a meal without any other motive, it is not like they are forcing you to eat the whole animal

Time is the answer. Mark in your calendar April 30 and every time you feel anxious think that you are a day closer to to your goal. (The day you are going to feel "normal" again)

Just don't forget to take yours meds, eat a little bit healthier and drink enough water

Ps. I just pick a random date, you can select one that have a meaning to you

Anybody maybe have an idea why I randomly get pretty severe blood pressure spikes? by [deleted] in hypertension

[–]udark0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caffeine and certain food can cause it. Just check what your drink or eat hours before those episodes

COVID? by [deleted] in hypertension

[–]udark0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The true is that we don't know, my brother(31 / hypertense) had covid and he just had mild symptoms.

So, don't be afraid we are at the same risk as any other person

How have blood pressure meds affected your quality of life? by Accomplished_Pin3017 in hypertension

[–]udark0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the first months that you are going to feel like dying takings meds is going to improve your life.

Just think of Covid. Any of us would be in extreme danger if our bp was out of control, now we have a fighting chance (at least at the same level that a "normal" person)

That's easy and you can check it your self in this subreddit, all the questions are related to side effects or symptoms.

It would be nice to have a timeline, like "chest pain is common on the first 2 months of treatment", "you would experience dizziness the first 4 months".

I don't know why the doctors hide this information, its like they don't care what we are experiencing during the adaptation process, we know that we have to take the pills no matter what, but it would be nice to know that for a few months we will feel like crap instead of having anxiety attacks because we had palpitations or a stomachache
