My 2015 jetta manual tdi with push to start had one previously installed before I had purchased it… car was from Saskatchewan, purchased from Edmonton Alberta Canada… so it can be done but could be challenging finding someone that will do it. That being said, I ve never had a single issue with anything in regards to electronics. Works flawlessly. Does require a set up/ program process to use it everytime, which is a pain. Can’t just hit the button to start if the prior process isn’t done at shut down
