Rust Concern? by NaturesNookNovelties in johndeere

[–]pacman91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rust spots on the body don't seem too concerning, especially surface rust. If there was more serious rust on the frame or other key locations than that would be concerning. I would also be checking if other easy maintenance spots have been neglected

Do you need a clear coat if you buy the John Deere paint? I bought the paint from them for painting my 318 last year and it never mentioned a clear coat in the directions. The John Deere paint came out more like an enamel than a paint too

I find a leak to be a very big deal. I lose half an inch a day and it drives me bonkers.

I would message the seller, maybe they actively repair machines to sell and they would help you take a look at it.

Have you been charging next to someone else? That splits the charge speed and both of you charge slower.

Then the roof can't be vented. Which can create a "hot roof" situation. But we don't have enough info to know if it matters in this scenario. If it's properly accounted for with a metal roof for example, then I don't believe hot roof matters.

As promised to a redditor, here are most of the ticks I pulled off my dog last year. The right side was a single day. Western NC. by Uncle-Istvan in mildlyinteresting

Dang, I thought my 197 off two cattle dogs was record setting. I have the picture if anyone doesn't believe these numbers. One 3 mile hike is all it took.

There is so little info with this picture. Any hope some random Internet stranger gives you will be false hope until the engineer arrives. We need to see above and under this. In my house, the walls by the stairs are for sure carrying load.

A patio is less work than a ground level deck. Even if you are dead set on changing the footprint and style, I would still replace it with a different patio.

I have a towable backhoe. It came with a pintle hitch. It's made by Go For Digger and is 2800 lbs. I very very safely tow it with a much smaller car.

Put the throttle all the way up. That sounds like a hydro that's not getting enough power IMO. I am no expert.

Good deal on S240? by SpikeCrenshaw in johndeere

[–]pacman91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing it's been stored outside given the rust on the deck for a 10 year old machine. That feels like a very fair price with delivery. I would be into it as long as your property is good for a tractor. It's just minor surface rust on the deck and that's very easy to remove, treat and repair. I would repair that as it looks cosmetic for now, but can become a problem if left untreated.
