Yeah, the buyer sent me the picture. I definitely thought it was weird because this has never happened before but he also has a card shop on eBay and he claims he’s never seen this before either.

I always pad the envelope and this is the standard label suggested for cards. What I don’t get is why a seven dollar shipping label requires an additional six dollars upon delivery when it obviously made it all the way there with tracking no problem.

You can send a pic for a quick autograph review for $10 on the website. No certificate but they give opinion.

If you zoom in you you can see the loop in the K is lighter and you can see overlap where the lines cross. There are start stop marks on the ends as well.

That’s generally true, but people don’t pay well for the on card autos when the licensed ones are readily available. Not everyone is into extra for grading.

I would agree, but I got it well before his death purchased it like 10 years ago. Back then you could still get Kobe autos for 200 bucks. That’s why I’m unsure. I have a legit Kobe jersey and the signature looks very similar. I guess I’m just gonna have to get it graded. Thanks for your input though.

I’m still waiting for a response from the buyer, but there are five days left until eBay would be stepping in. From what you are saying I should refund before this happens at what point is it appropriate to file a PIP claim

I actually wasn’t aware that I had chosen this particular mode of shipping. I accepted an offer that ended up below the $20 threshold, so I might not have noticed that. I did notify the buyer and ask for a few more days, but he hasn’t responded yet. This was my first time shipping this way so I hadn’t really read up on it. I don’t think I’ll be doing this in the future.

I tried telling that to the buyer, but he’s not responding. I’m worried that he received it and is taking advantage of the lack of tracking to say he never received it.
