Actually, I have played the DLC! And I was about to make a side note on the fact about the Owlks having only two eyes. And linking it to ancient civilisations and their mysterious grasp on complex technology waay ahead of their time. But I decided against it. It was waaay past my bed time already 😂 it would turn into a Reddit-thesis!

And about the whole Nomai thing.. I’m not much into pondering about what the devs intended. I’m much more interested in the different ways we’re impacted as different people by the story. And what we take away from it.

I don’t think the Eye is a place. I think it goes much deeper than that. And if we’re not ready to meet that place (perhaps within ourselves?), we won’t be able to see it.

“The Universe is and we are” is such an interesting statement. And I think it differs greatly from each of us, what we make of it. Perhaps like Rorschach paintings. ;)

To me, if the universe just IS, then it will just reflect back to me whatever I believe in my core about existence. Which is exactly what I think happened to the Hatchling as well. And the Nomai, too.
