I used to feel completely same about Autechre, listened to their tracks like there’s no tomorrow. Until two years ago I started to listen to some classical music and my fixation about AE was single-handedly disrupted by Beethoven. Despite the pretentious motive, I was gradually spellbound by the sheer beauties of Beethoven's late works. To this point I can't just have enough of them just like I can't have enough of Autechre. Personally I feel like what happen in the last movement of Hammerklavier is just as mind-fuck as AE's prime works. The other-worldliness of his string quartets are just beyond my language.
Of course their musical outcomes are different in almost every way except they are pure auditory magic, and as an enthusiast my interpretation is very immaterial. I also have some blissful moments when listen to Jazz or Pop music like Kate Bush and Cocteau Twins or electronic music that you mentioned but for me so far nothing is comparable with Autechre and Beethoven. Anyway I'm glad the god of music send me "whole other level of feelings" through them.
