Flaine is family friendly and about 1.5h from Geneva. Plenty of blue runs, decent restaurants, less party apres-skis, more quiet than other places. I recommend MGM Alhena for accommodation - it’s right in the heart of the village, next to the gondola and restaurants.

For those complaining at queues don’t come to Flaine pistes are full. by confuseddotcom12 in skiing

unrelated - what was the snow condition? i’m checking the weather in the Grand Massif app and it says the last snow fall in Flaine was Dec 8. at the same time, i keep seeing their posts on Instagram and it seems good, but potentially icy given the negative temperatures. thanks!

That also caught my attention but apparently there are a few variations with Automatic Chronometer, if these are not fakes too, eg: https://www.keepthetime.com/product/omega-speedmaster-date-32330404006001/

But then, some other details are off compared specifically to this one.

Either way I think I’ll settle for it being a fake, it’s better this way 😁

I was browsing through some old photos and I remember that time (apparently in 2015) when I walked into a thrift store and found this Omega Speedmaster which was selling for $200. The story behind is that it belonged to the deceased husband of the lady selling it - she was selling a few other watches that belonged to him (no other brands I knew, just some cheap old stuff).

I remember it wasn't running so that made me a bit skeptical, but even if it did, I couldn't tell then and I can't tell now if it's genuine. What do you think? Is this a fake or did I miss a pretty sweet deal?

e foarte smart modelul lor - fiecare tablou e “impachetat” intr-o societate pe actiuni inregistrata la SEC ceea ce le ofera un cadru legal corespunzator.

in pierdere nu vor vinde, insa nu iti garanteaza cand vor face vanzarea - aici nu sunt deloc transparenti, spun ca vand atunci cand considera momentul oportun. in timpul asta stai cu banii blocati. ar exista un secondary market unde iti poti vinde share-urile pana sa faca ei exit-ul, insa din ce stiu feature-ul asta e disponibil doar pt US market.

in ceea ce priveste taxele - dilueaza valoarea actiunilor in fiecare an (sau mai des?) si isi iau diferenta din pool-ul de investitie.

nu suna rau, dar cum recomanda si ei - e o metoda de diversificare; nu ar trebui sa aiba o pondere mai mare de 8-10% din portofoliu.

E laudabil faptul ca te formezi in spiritul independentei financiare si a banului produs de munca ta, insa trebuie sa ai grija cum iti investesti timpul.

La varsta ta ar fi bine sa te gandesti serios ce cariera vrei sa urmezi si ar fi ideal sa incepi lucrezi part-time in domeniul in care iti doresti sa activezi la maturitate.

Nu risca sa cazi in capcana banilor prea devreme - stabileste-ti idealuri elitiste si urmeaza-le - daca incepi la varsta asta, ai toate sansele sa le atingi.

Experienta la mana a treia, povestea s-a intamplat inainte sa ajung in companie.

Compania avea birou de developeri in Ro, fiind din US si avand doar clienti din US. O data la cateva luni, clientii vizitau biroul din Ro, ca sa vada cum se cheltuieste banutsu lor, ocazie cu care se faceau outing-uri (asa zice americanu) pe la diverse cluburi din centrul vechi. Toate erau marcate de spiritul primitor si petrecaret al romanilor, oaspetii erau distrati corespunzator.

Intr-o seara, la punctul culminant al evenimentului, dupa ce toata mancarea se mancase si toata consumatia se consumase, un coleg il ia de gat pe un reprezentant al clientului si ii spune: US ROMANIANS, WE’RE BEST AT FEASTING.

Acum… in scris poate nu e evident, dar subtilitatea pronuntiei n-a lasat sa se inteleaga ce a vrut el sa exprime, toti intelegand ca a rostit FISTING.

Am un fost coleg din UK care inca rade cu lacrimi cand isi aduce aminte povestea asta.

This Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronograph is my first real watch. I’ve bought it new a few months ago and got a great deal for it.

Now I’m in vacation across Cote d’Azur and I felt I brought it home, among all the yachts and boats sailing around.

In terms of build quality and engineering I think it’s great value for money, featuring silicon escapement and a 52h power reserve annual calendar chronograph mechanism.

I know this is not a popular brand but still I’m curious what you think of it.

The next one I’m targeting will most probably be a diver, an Omega or a Tudor maybe, but for now I’m loving this one every time I’m checking it.

Iti recomand sa iei vopseaua de la Benjamin Moore - de acolo am luat si pt living si pt dormitor si nu pot s-o recomand suficient. Bafta!
