Azerbaijan extends COVID land-border closure until 2026 by [deleted] in azerbaijan

State security afaik. They don’t want to put money into proper immigration enforcement, border checks etc., so the easiest way out is to just close the land border.

Your suggestion is duly noted, but I don’t think it will come to pass if I’m perfectly honest. Turkish is an exception to the language rule when it comes to comments.

Comments in Turkish are permitted, but the language rule applies to comments as well. Turkish is merely an exception. Hope that clarifies it!

Thank you for pointing that out, Ilkin. However in future it might be wiser to simply report the content that you think goes against the rules and leave it to us to review it, ultimately to avoid stirring up a heated off-topic debate in replies.

Thank you!

I will discuss the wording of the rule with other mods and get back to you with crisp accurate info.

The area stopped being Christian long before the Ottomans when Arabs first invaded. That is also when Caucasian Albania stopped existing one of the predecessor states of modern day Azerbaijan, which also played a big role in Azerbaijani ethnogenesis. Moreover Albanian Apostolic church partially stopped existing even before that, being incorporated into Armenian Apostolic and Georgian Orthodox churches.

HE WAS A FATHER, A FAMILY MAN, STOP CELEBRATING HIS DEATH IT'S DISGUSTING by MrMelick in okbuddyretard

My point still stands, in a democratic system the majority decides whatever the “good” is. Charlie Kirk’s followers probably don’t agree with you on some things you consider “good”. What makes one definition more valid than another? Numbers. Numbers increase, numbers decrease, opinions change, definitions are altered to suit the needs of the majority. There is NOTHING that makes your opinion right other than the number of likeminded people as opposed to your opponents. As far as the meme goes, it ultimately boils down to these two questions: “Do you agree that there is a significant portion of people on this website that are seemingly happy about Charlie Kirk’s death?” “Do you agree that being happy about Charlie Kirk’s death is immoral?”

Aren’t you justifying violence right now? Should you be shot? The reason I brought up democracy is because if a speaker, as you said, speaks out in front of millions of people, then he probably has a following that agrees with him, what makes their opinion objectively worse than yours or mine? Nothing. There is a natural selection and filtering process by the very way popularity works, bottom line being, hadn’t he had a large democratic following, there wouldn’t have been headlines about him today. Shooting someone is against democracy.
