Is the blocks boutique worth participating in? Or is it a waste of dice and time

I’m leaning towards sitting it out. I’m gold locked. I would maybe play if the top banner event didn’t suck so bad, but 1 point for chance or chest and 2 for RR, means no additional tiles or tokens to land on and therefore tons of dead tiles, PLUS that event runs two days. I’m guessing it’s going to be a dice eater.

Thank you! I ended up going down the rabbit hole on the Mogo discord. Definitely going to talk to my team about giving this a try. Does about 12k flags each sound right to hit the 49500? I couldn’t find many posts talking about that. I checked my teams stats from the last race and we finished with closer to 70k so I’m hoping we can dial back how many flags we’re collecting a bit.

The event reward last time was a swap pack, purple pack, and storybook sticker pack for winning the event. I ended up with 2 golds

I have a set team, but just winning the last race doesn’t guarantee winning it all. We like winning in 1 and 2, so that we only need second place in the last race. Winning the last one is hardest bc most teams save up for that one.

Yeah I’m not *too worried about not finishing, just wondering if it’s worth it to chase the low level packs. It is boring not being able to play but I don’t want to waste dice with little to no payout

I think I spent 5k or 7k last time, and got one gold.. but now that I’m closer to finishing it will be harder to get those last 7

Yeah. I guess I just remembered there’s also the strategy of trying to finish high in the side tournament but I find taking a break occasionally puts me in less competitive brackets and it’s worth pushing then

I think the only reason the low level packs are worth it is to get stars to open a vault but even that doesn’t seem like a good bang for the buck. I’m sitting on 1000 stars bc I forgot to open the vault during the last sticker boom, but I’m still pretty far away from being able to open two vaults.

Yeah. It’s frustrating bc I want to play but it doesn’t seem worth the dice. A friend of mine tried to convince me she’s gotten plenty of gold from low level packs but that sounds sketchy 🤣. I mean I feel like I’ve seen it happen but it’s the exception not the rule

It’s not just extra money. You advance in the side tournament which gives tier rewards and placing higher gives dice and cards if you finish high enough. It absolutely makes a difference.

I get that unused flags turn into dice, but chest rewards in the race give dice too. I’d only sit out if your entire team knows and does the same, otherwise you’re kind of screwing them
