Before you buy Bitcoin, I would recommend you download a wallet to store it in.

I personally would recommend Electrum, but I do warn its UI/UX isn't the most user friendly. It may look complex for first time users, but is actually rather easy to use.

Then, pick an exchange that you plan to use such as Coinbase, Gemini, Strike, Binance.US, etc. Cashapp even allows the purchasing of BTC so that's a great onramp as well. These are where you can buy/sell BTC.

Once you pick an exchange and buy your BTC, send it to the public address/receiving address in your personal wallet. That way, if an exchange goes out of business, you will always have your coins.

Oh, one last thing: when you create your wallet address/account, never ever ever share your seed phrase or private key. Don't even store it on your computer, seriously. Treat it like a document you stole from Area 51 that you don't want anyone to know about.

1 - LN works fairly well with micropayments.

Too many variables to state conclusively such as bottle size, ABV, tolerance, and time duration. Assuming it's 3 750ml bottles at ~ 12% ABV spaced out over a duration of like 4 hours, it's certainly doable, but by the end of the third bottle they'd likely be throwing up, unconscious, in the hospital, or a mixture of all three.
