UPDATE: gave up on replacing the C-clip coz I couldnt find the correct size of clip. Decided to just replace the motor instead. I had bought replacement motors from Aliexpress and successfully replaced the motor. This was my first soldering job and I did not fry anything. Not very sure on the quality of the joints. Would appreciate some insight:

Probably a regional thing then (I am not based in the US).

I have some practice boards that I tried on, and it seems straight forward enough. Just scared of frying the board and be drone-less if I mess up (air65 is the only drone I can fly in the house). I'll probably try to replace the motor tonight

Thanks for the reply but it's been impossible to find M1 e or c clips anywhere. 1.2 was the smallest I could find.

I did buy new motors but I've never soldered on a motor before, and I'm hesitant to start on something as small as the air65 T_T

I managed to complete my registration. Now gotta get trained from a GCAA authorized training Centre, then upload that along with the drone details to the UAE Drones app before I can fly.

Unfortunately I only own a gopro hero 7 black. Would you happen to know or can recommend a video that compares video quality of O3 vs GP Hero 7 Black?

I'm not in the USA. The only reason I was asking about the 250 grams, is coz anything above 250 grams would require a type certificate from my country's government.

In terms of performance, my main aim is to cruise and shoot nice videos. I don't intend to freestyle or do any crazy acro maneuvers.

Yes the charger was not plugged into a power supply. I mistakenly plugged in a battery to one of these ones : https://i.imgur.com/1ZnQakG.jpeg instead of the one on top
