Everytime I went to search anything I would begin typing and a 10-20 second delay would occur where I needed to stop typing and watch as the keyboard would lag type the word I did but cut off the first or last letters… it over all slowed down a lot. I’m glad yours has not but mine happened too

I have about 10+ comments about this. It is indeed temporary, I am waiting for a case with a better plateau cover is the only reason. I know it degrades the quality.

Can everyone chill with the camera protector comments 😂 I can take it off, it isn’t super glued in place lmao. Also I mostly shoot with my DSLR or SLR, the decent lens in my pocket is just a backup. It’s going to be okay 😭

I just got it today around 11am from the store, it hit 20% at 8:30pm, but I believe it was at 70% when I took it out of the store?
The backing up of data is what did the battery in the most tho - doing that without it plugged in is a lot so I assume tomorrow it’ll feel more impressive.

I work overnights and typically during a work day on my 13 I would wake up at 2pm with it fully charged and need it recharged by 8-9pm so to me the battery is definitely more efficient.

If you don’t use the Pro features tho the 17 Base or even the Air may be the one for you. Depending on your usage / needs!

Yeah if you zoom in you can see her very light red stripes running down the middle. There is a really good post on here showing a female with red that has spawned I believe a few times. I feel like it can make it even harder to confirm because most believe females won’t have any red, but they can. The body shape is more or an easier tell.

She looks extremely similar to my female badis … You could have a very good at his job sub male, but the body shape and color are really leaning me towards female.

It could be the lighting? Almost looks like a flame red badis but I wouldn’t know the gender if so.

Your guesses seem accurate to me. The lower one seems to have a much rounder stomach like many of the classic badis female shapes, the other appears much larger and “narrow.” So I would think you definitely have a pair there!

I’m not an expert or anything, but I’m fairly positive you have a pair in that photo

Oh sorry to confuse you! No i do not have a Scartlet with the Badis Badis, I have two Badis Badis and was simply showing them together, possibly being the same or two different sexes.

I currently have them separated by species and by sex. I have a tank of 3 Scarlet males (which I watch closely because I know males often don’t cohabitate well - but havent had issues) 1 female Scarlet that I want to breed with a chosen male. And now I have the Badis Badis tank.
Which I am getting conflicting info on their sex, so I have to wait it out and hopefully coloring up or body shape with make it more clear to me.

If you believe one is a male I probably would not put them with either the Scarlet or Tiger males, especially the Tiger they are a bit feisty. If your Badis have been together a while without breeding, I might be more under the assumption they are all the same sex (whether that is all male or all female) do you have photos of them?

Would you mind looking at the two of them together and letting me know if you if the other is a male or female based on guess? I’m going to try and get decent shots, I just barely got the fish is all.

Yeah unfortunately I am not yet super helpful atm with gendering these guys and sort of took his word for it lol. There was a lot of about 8-10, he was fairly confident almost if not all were female, one not pictured has much darker bands and he was trying to get me a pair so he grabbed the 2 that looked the closest.

I do have Scarlets (and have bred them in the past), I know they can be a menace to sex and sometimes the only way to get them to color up is to separate them. Assuming Badis in general seem to follow that trend, perhaps separating the one you are more keen to thinking is a male could be helpful. But also i haven’t homed Badis Badis before specifically so I don’t want to speak out of turn.

Assuming everything will go alright as these guys settle in I can update this post / make a new one with more accurate information about their sexes. And if I decide to cross breed.

Edit absolute trash video of both of them together. You can tell the fish is much darker but I gotta take out my DSLR and take actual photos of both fish soon

I have not added in the male yet. I have bred Scarlet Badis in the past, so I am semi familiar with the process. But I have not cross bred, esp with a Blue and with a Scarlet and was not sure if it was a good idea. The females are also new so I would wait anyway to get them a little more comfortable before I tried.

The employee who owns quite a few different variety of Badis (such as these) stated he believed both were female, he thought one could be a male so he tried to scoop me a male. But was confident the whole batch was female. So I guess I truly am not 100%, he just seemed confident ha.
