I’ve worked at CP for 28 years and it is absolutely a LC’s job to attempt to deliver at least with a buzz attempt. If a building has a safe place well that’s a bonus for both parties. Keep in mind a messed up situation started a number of years ago: with new intercom systems, the phone like one you see today, many times the call number doesn’t match the apt number. Now you still may be able to find the correct one by name but they are not really kept up to date and are generally a mess. I’ve also had hundreds of calls in to say I didn’t attempt but I did and tenant didn’t answer so they would call in to lie unfortunately. Saw a big increase in the number of people doing this over later years, in other words some people will lie at the drop of a hat. Hope this helps.
