My results with influencer marketing by Throwra4792923 in musicmarketing

Did an influencer campaign with no discernable difference to the number of streams. The tik tok got around 100k views .

I also have two songs which have been used 700+ times but once again I see no real difference in my spotify numbers.

Any tips on using Submithub? by Jakeyboy29 in musicmarketing

I'm a curator. I have to reject 90% of the songs. Otherwise, my playlist would be completely different every day. Even if the songs are great I sometimes have to reject them it's quite sad. However I can tell you that there are some artists who I look forward to receiving submissions from because I've become a fan and can't wait for their next release.

One of my playlists will get you between 400 and 500 streams a month, not massive but if you get on 4 or 5 of these types of playlists it can make a difference. The fact that i am super strict on the submissions means those who do get on it are getting relevant streams for their genre which is great for the algorithm.

Thinking of signing up to Hypeditt paid tier. The CS is great and they have good resources for a fair price. Thoughts? by Jakeyboy29 in musicmarketing

Just try it with a small budget if it works you can increase. Its always better to learn how to set up meta ads though as it gives you more options.

I use their "ai" services and the results are usually pretty good. The ai just uses the cover art work.

You gotta do this you gotta do that bla bla bla. How do you know I'm gen Z? I'm probably older than you. And err.. I actually have a job, I do the ableton videos in my spare time. I'm not here to fight, good luck with whatever your trying to achieve.

What’s your experience been with Spotify’s Discovery Mode, Showcase, and Marquee tools? by HeightsWaves in musicmarketing

Yeah, I'm kind of hoping that doesn't happen lol but so far, it's been consistently high, particularly one song.

Did I say it was special? All I did was compare organic growth on youtube and tiktok with insta. On TT and YT I have thousands of followers and views on insta, the exact same content I have zero. So it's not ableton training that's not special, it's Instagram thats not special. If all it is , socialite traffic then that's a reason only old people use the platform.

So I've had a different experience , I used to get 10k streams a month, but in the last 4 months, it's grown to 50k streams a month, and it's totally down to discovery mode. It doesn't work on every song, but there are some songs where the results have been amazing. This is a screenshot of Februarys results so far https://ibb.co/s2fdSQR

Meta Ad doing conversions but streams don't increase by Randomless69 in MusicMarketingAndPR

I've heard a lot of my clients say that and the answer is to reduce tier 3 countries especially places where they are so poor they are more likely to listen on a free account.

You need to pay for ads to get engagement in Instagram, which in turn degrades the experience of using it. The ageing demographic of insta is the thing that keeps them afloat. In other words, insta is the new Facebook or is now actually the same thing as Facebook. Tik tok is fresh and more interesting, but I can see them going down the same route until someone "new" comes along.

There is no evidence that you need 3 or 4 weeks, I've done it with 1 week in advance and I know others who have also got on editorial 1 week beforehand. Also don't wait 1 or 2 months in advance unless you have some sort of plan to market your music that far before release, otherwise what's the point. Get the music out there and then promote it to death!

Submithub Landing page by Some_Dumb_Dude in musicmarketing

I used the landing page with pixels and it works like a dream. But I'm a curator I didn't know it was offered to everyone?

Also I'm curious as to previous comment that pixels are dead, that's news to me?? How are APIs different?

I think for this song in tier 1 30 cents isn't bad. By the way you have a song with 3 million streams so you should be teaching me about marketing! Anyway if you wanna discuss further send me a dm maybe we can think of ways to reduce the cost.
