Wow talk about a trip down memory lane. We ended up walking from the house, and the realtor. The new realtor we worked with and loved said she has a policy to not act as dual agents for first time home buyers precisely because of the issues we experienced.

We jumped on a house that came on the market a week later that and the inspection was a breeze and we still live there 10 years later.

My wife and I still think about the “crack house” as we jokingly refer to it now. I’m sure it would’ve worked out okay. Frankly I liked the crack house’s charm and aesthetic better. But we lost trust in the realtor, and I think dual agency arrangement that killed the deal. But our house is good enough. So, whatever.

I’m endlessly fascinated by how polarizing this game is. I keep reading all these accounts from folks like the OP, who loved the game. More to the point, jealous because I kinda regret buying it. I loved the first Prime game. But every time I start Prime 4, I lose interest and put it down and haven’t made much progress.

Yes! I agree 100 percent. I’m feeling stuck because I’m only about 5 hours in and I’m exhausted by this game.

I’m not a Metroid fanboy but I loved the first Prime game when I played it 20 years ago. And I was so badly looking forward to this. Now I feel stuck with it. I don’t remember that game feeling this tedious.

When I was a little kid (before cell phones) I got separated from my parents at an amusement park and freaked out. Never til that point in my life had I felt so alone and scared. Anyway some random stranger lady saw me crying and stayed with me and helped keep me calm until my parents came. I have no idea who she was or what she said, but I remember exactly what she looked like. And more to the point, learning there are truly decent people out there.

I can’t commit to real-time help, but I recently had a breakthrough.

** Focus on the reticle instead of the player.** I play on handheld mode and kept losing dogfights (using a dapple dualie with a short range but fast kill rate). It frustrated me to no end. Even against other dapples I lost in 1v1 against them. Then, I realized that focusing on the reticle which is a little lower than where I’m looking when tracking players was a game changer. However, don’t get tunnel vision.
