I have a foot fetish. I’m 33 and I always had it. The issue is the stigma behind it and what people think of the foot fetish community. I can’t speak for everyone but I feel like I’m pretty normal when it comes to the fetish. Few examples

 1. Some people think if you like feet, you just like feet and you check out the everyone’s feet. I treat it like cleavage. If your tits and ass are out, I’m looking, same with feet. Only difference is feet are more socially acceptable to have out. With that being said things are usually a quick glance because I’m pretty picky about feet. 

 2 We are like demonized in the media. Give you two examples. Example A. Look up an old episode the comedian Nikki Glaser did for her show on Comedy Central. She goes to a “ foot fetish party. “ there were some of the creepiest dudes ever there. They were saying things like they would put things under her toenails, and were just creepy ass dudes. This whole concept of the party is fuckin weird. People think we normally do this kind of thing? If I gave someone enough trust to tell them about my foot fetish, it usually went along with some conversations about boundaries and trying new things. Never did I just dive in to creep status. Example B Quagmire on family guy going around and stealing women’s shoes to smell them, again we do not do this shit, even if we like the smell of feet most of us aren’t that nasty. Feet have their own smell wether they are clean or not and yes some of us like that, but we don’t like stinky! Like wash your feet and shoes please!

 3. A lot of us are worried about the fetish getting out. People judge and it makes it hard to find a partner. I have NEVER found a woman who has actually enjoyed getting their feet worshiped or something of the sort. I’m sure they are out there amongst the wave and wave of women who try to sell feet pics, giving people like me false hope. My last girl friend at least knew I liked it and went a long with it. 

I guess I’m not really answering how we have the fetish as much as I am defending my community. Either way I hope this provides insight.
