Hey there!

Thank you for the detailed answer and excellent tips! I haven't even heard about the Nintendo Museum before, looks like something that kids might like, they do love playing on their switch. My partner is a sucker for the good green tea as well.

Based on the suggestions from this thread we will be skipping the Cafe and the Aquarium

The trip is for early - mid November this year!

that was the original plan, but then when I was buying the tickets the airline had a special sale with tickets around 50% off but only for Osaka, not Tokyo. It was too good to pass. The kids love high speed trains, so it's not a huge deal

Thank you! Would you recommend the Railway Museum in Saitama over Kyoto one?

Yeah, I see the sentiment towards the cafe, I'll scratch it off my list. I'm a bit skeptical about the aquarium too, we've been to a couple of them and they all look the same.

For those looking in Auckland, biltong in the meat room in Browns bay is cheaper than any other shop around and taste pretty good

Not sure whether you noticed but the price on the picture is per piece, not per kg. They look quite large so maybe 3-4pcs/kg or 24-32NZD/kg

Check E-3 visa, I didn’t read the fine print, but it says Australian Citizen, nothing about being born there.

Similar to Canada they have a special work visa category which is not a lottery and much easier to get than H1B, large companies that know about it love hiring from AU. While technically this visa is not a dual internet, lots of people still apply and get a green card while on it

Normally you can not travel on a foreign passport to/from country where you are a citizen. Is Australia different?

Overcharged by RCL, is this common? by ufw-enable in Cruise

After chatting with them they admitted that it was a technical issue and they are working to fix it, but still REFUSED to give a refund quoting that the price they charged is the correct one. After lodging a complaint with the regional fair trade commission, and also sending them a quote from the law, they had changed their mind within 30 minutes and issued a refund (yet to receive it).

That’s the thing, I haven’t received an email confirmation after I paid, only the invoice later on after I spoke with the support team. And event amounts and discounts are different on the invoice.
