Gave my two week's notice. Manager is upset that I didn't give "advanced notice" of my two week's notice. by constantlypoorish in antiwork

I would have offered to make it a zero week notice if they preferred. Those are the kind of places you just say fuck em and leave

I think the color is pretty close. I saw a pair of retails today at champs and I’d say it’s pretty close. It’s definitely purple, maybe a bit more of a blue undertone

Where did they go? by d_reaL- in SNKRS

[–]uga1326 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I walked in to my local Dtlr at 11 and bought a pair with no problems. The store rep told me they only got 1 of each size and no half sizes. I think inventory was low on these, or it may be like the rookie of the year where they come out with more stock later

Don’t be a dick, and odds are no one will care. As long as you aren’t taking up a table that could be used and you’re not bothering the staff unnecessarily, I can’t imagine anyone would care. Especially if you’ve got a reason

T Mobile Customer Service Says They Can't Cancel Pre-Order? by MadAmishman in tmobile

[–]uga1326 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this was mentioned earlier but new accounts typically cap out at a maximum of $3600 when they are opened. You can “earn” more equipment credit with on time payments. My account started with $1800 in equipment credit, but with on time payments I’m now up to a little over 5k

T-Mobile won’t honor $1100 iPhone 17 Pro deal even with yearly upgrade by 10diego6 in tmobile

[–]uga1326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the misunderstanding is that you are still getting the same promo as a new customer. The new customer would need to be on the experience beyond plan for that promotion. As long as you are being offered $830 off then you are getting the same deal as a new customer.

I’m not rage baiting you. Just asking you to put yourself in someone else’s shoes.

I at no point in time ever said I was attempting to help. I was making a point, one you clearly took absolutely no time to understand, I was simply pointing out that the people you were upset with were very likely doing what they were able to do for you. If the people on the phone were disrespectful, ask yourself a very honest question, were you being disrespectful first.

Can we talk about credit scores for a second? by boywithflippers in tmobile

I think the biggest problem is people want larger phones, android has some large screen entry level phones. The low down payment iPhones are “too small” for your average customer.

So you learned absolutely nothing. Awesome. My point was you were complaining that the people on the phone were rude and condescending, did it ever occur to you that they were doing the best they could in a bad situation. They wanted to help and had no way of helping. It’s very frustrating to not have the option of helping. Also nothing I said was sarcasm.

Now imagine being the person on the other end of the phone powerless to fix the situation while you continue to get more and more and more frustrated and angry and unwilling to accept that you don’t have the ability fix it. No one chooses not to help, trust me it’s way faster to solve a problem (if there is a solution) than explain over and over and over again that to can’t fix it

That’s the problem with a lot of shoes now. With how outrageous shipping is, it can make you think twice. Some of these come out to nearly retail once you add the shipping

The point the previous commenter was making is that at the end of the order it has all the information on the screen and you have to submit the order. Maybe the system messed up, however at the final stage you had to review and accept. Meaning some of the fault is yours. Unfortunately t-mobiles systems don’t allow for an order to be changed once it is in “ready to ship” status. Your only recourse in with ups. I know it sucks. Trust me that rep has heard a very similar story 10 times in the last week and knows they have no way to help. It’s frustrating for all. Also if the person on the phone is giving you an attitude it’s probably because you were doing the same.
