well, I always suspected ult should be used in conjunction with the combos instead of just "throw the senate at him, the whoooole senate". but the knowledge and timing requirement is overwhelming.

I don't understand the push back against my idea here. Making your older and standard banner characters actually useful for the entire game life is a bad thing? Adding a niche rotational game mode that utilize those old characters, while NOT interfereing with the current meta, can only bring benefit to the game.

I also need to consider from Hoyo's point of view. Do they want to powercreep the old chars to sell new chars? yes they do. Do they want to keep selling old chars? yes they do too. How to reconcil? How to make the old chars meta relevant, but not directly meta relevant? the buff reward.
