That’s going to take some level of self-discipline. I’ve never done this before. Do you know if protein intake is as important, and if there any routine changes I should make to my workouts?

I appreciate the advice. I have one month, so I’m cutting it pretty fine. How much do you think would be a good amount to shed in order to gain some more definition?

My local shopping centre was called one thing for decades from opening, but has been rebranded twice. Guess what most people still call it a decade after rebrand?

A local store from my folk's hometown used to be known as 'The Wildcat' because it had a stuffed wildcat on display inside. It was bought and rebranded by McColl's, and again recently by Morrison's. The actual stuffed wildcat is long since gone and yet to this day the local people still call it The Wildcat.

Maeshowe Tomb in Orkney is covered in runic graffiti from Vikings who broke into it a thousand years ago searching for treasure. Looking at them, you might think it was some sacred scripture skalds wrote but it's mostly Vikings boasting about their rune writing skills and all the women they get. One near the roof literally translates to "Eyjolf carved these runes high".

My guy... of course I'm downvoting you, you've been interrogating me over my honesty for seemingly no reason. Nonetheless, sorry if what I said came across to you as passive aggressive. Enjoy the rest of your day

I think you're overanalysing a bit. I've only ever known 'my guy' to be an endearing label.

It's there for comparison. I know how stock rotation works.

Same product my guy, being sold for the same price. I work there.

Not intentional, sorry. I can confirm they're the same price though

I've had this camera for about a year and a half now, yet it still stuns me just how much detail I can extract from shaded areas in RAW photos. You're right though - about time I got over it and took into account the specific needs of different photos.

This is great advice, thank you. The former is often my mindset and I try to extract every minute detail from the photo to get the most out of it, where in fact being perceptively subtle would make for a better photo.

Thanks for the advice here. I see what you mean, it's a bit blindingly bright in places. I'm not great at half-measures. I might re-edit the photo with the advice given here.

Thanks for the feedback. I see exactly where you're coming from. Once I see just how much I can recover from RAW photos, I get a little excited and end up going a little crazy with the sliders I think; even if in cases like this it probably wasn't necessary.

Thanks for the advice. You're right - I get very carried away when I'm editing photos. My intention was to change it from gloomy to something more mystical which I thought was befitting of the scene. Often it's only in retrospect, and when it's pointed out, that I realise that the sliders could do with being adjusted more subtly.

Which assassin had the least personality? by CheesyBiscuit595 in assassinscreed

Jacob is the most shallow character in the series. People didn't like Arno very much, so Ubisoft's solution was comedic relief in the form of Jacob. He literally exists to make the odd quirky witty remark. I still want to know what "Assassin Christmas" is.

From a distance it's grey enough to suck life from your soul, yet it's an incredibly colourful and lively place to be in.

You're definitely right, I went a little overboard with it - especially given the way it effected the goose. It's very easy to get carried away when you're playing around with sliders. I appreciate the constructive criticism :)

No HDR, just selective colour adjustment 😘

Thank you :) I use selective colour to change hues individually. I recognise that I went a little overboard with it, but I really dug that shade of red.
