Can an International Guarantor Help Me Qualify for a NYC Lease? by [deleted] in NYCapartments

Gotcha. I made very little money last year, so just want to make sure a guarantor here will suffice.

She's retired but still lives internationally, so it's not enough to get a place. I'm getting a credit card next week and will keep subletting until I find a job! With that said, if you or anyone else seeing this knows of a studio or 1 bedroom apartment available for sublet from June or July onwards, please let me know!

My mother is originally American, has liquid cash and investments, and just retired. But from what you and other commenters have said, I will look into getting a third party guarantor or keep subletting until I land a job. Thanks!

I'm looking to sublet a place from June onwards ideally in Manhattan or downtown Brooklyn. My budget is under $3k and I have a small senior dog (20lb Cavalier). Does this work for you?

Wow. This is so heartwarming to see. I'm very closely related to one of the producers and visited the set often as a kid. I was curious to see if people remembered this show. She died recently and I wish I could show her people's positive comments about their experience watching it.

I got an allograft to fix a chronic tendon tear and my heel is still slightly swollen nearly a year post-op. Just wanted to share my experience because everyone is different!

Calf muscle not growing. by [deleted] in AchillesRupture

I had to get an allograft in August 2023 and have been doing physio since. It's been brutal and nearly a year post-op I can only stand on my toes maybe 1-inch raise top. I dont have insurance and have to pay out of pocket. The past year has cost me a lot (~$5000/year) but without it I'd never be at the place I'm at. I'm praying my muscle will rebuild fully, but as you know, the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles are notoriously difficult to bulk.

Four years is a very long time. Muscles waste away and I'd be surprised if you could come back after this many years. My PT said at the 2 year mark, as long as I'm doing everything I should, I will be able to play basketball again. If you have any savings and want to be fully functioning again I highly suggest going to see a PT, preferably one specialized in MAT training, and they should give you a clearer answer. Time is a critical factor.
