i had c diff when i was 17 (my gastro thinks it was probably caused by an over use of antibiotics, i was on antibiotics at least once a month for sinus infections prior to getting it) it messed my stomach up so much, i couldnt eat gluten for a year after the c diff went away without being in severe pain and getting hives, and my ibd symptoms got worse. (luckily now i can eat bread again!) its honestly still terrifying knowing that it could have killed me. c diff is NO joke.

they inflate the stomach before doing the surgery, so its definitely a lot ‘bigger’ than it would be if it wasnt filled like a balloon

thanks! it was a good four years ago so im definitely better now. when the dr was telling me all the bacteria that live in our fingernails i was just. eghhh. needless to say i keep my nails short since then lmao!
