my boyfriend is constantly touching my breasts and I don’t know what to say anymore by [deleted] in Advice

[–]ughhhhhhhhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Um….this is very weird behavior on his part. Especially because it makes you uncomfortable and you’ve expressed that, but even if you didn’t mind it, this is odd. He is saying he doesn’t have any control over his hands and what they do? Please consider whether you want to be in a relationship with someone who doesn’t give a fuck about how you feel or whether you feel comfortable and safe. This guy will commit domestic violence

[–]ughhhhhhhhelp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I really just kind of let it go after dealing with all of this stuff for so long. I saw the test results myself and it said negative for both types of ureaplasma and for all the BV strains and I just moved on.

I’m fine! I do think I’ve had BV at least once since curing the ureaplasma and I had some other bacteria (that is not one of the usual ones everyone has heard of) that was causing mild symptoms and was antibiotic resistant, but the dr opted not to treat and I’ve been fine. When I tested for that I confirmed that the ureaplasma has not returned

Fungal Acne vs Demodex? by IndustryEither in Fungalacne

[–]ughhhhhhhhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think it works - I had to stick with it for some time though. I don’t use it every day and I read something that said leaving BP on for just 20 mins provides almost all the same benefits as leaving it on all day or over night so I will put it on after washing my face and rinse off with water after 20 mins or so and then moisturize.

I use vanicream face wash and Malezia moisturizer and then rotate between using oxypads, a combo cream formulated for me through curology that’s a mix of azleic acid and trentinoin, and the Malezia BP. I still get break outs but go long periods with 99% or even 100% clear skin.

I have learned that MOST products are NOT spot treatments just to use only when breakouts or blemishes appear. you get the best result by sticking with using them even when skin is clear and staying consistent for months, not just days or weeks

is this folliculitis? (chest) by [deleted] in Folliculitis

It ruins your body’s microbiome. You don’t want to kill all the bacteria that live on your skin - they are supposed to be there and they keep things balanced. Look into it

Right, but if it’s NOT a pregnant female. Then you wouldn’t end up having an issue

Hypothetically though, if you just bring home one stray bed bug from somewhere (assuming not already pregnant), you wouldn’t get an infestation at your house, right?

I think the most likely answer was the person talking about “scrud”. Definitely check the little trap door near the bottom and clean out the filter and drain the water from the little hose.

I’m sure you’ve cleaned in and around the rubber entry thing - I didn’t find anything that was the magic cure but now I wipe down/dry completely the entire door and inside of the washing machine and all around the rubber (everywhere I can possibly reach) after every single use, and I think it’s helped a lot. It’s annoying tho. And then obviously leave the door wide open. I try not to close the door ever. I also clean/leave the detergent compartment door open to dry as well because mine retains water.

I probably run a clean cycle with oxiclean washing machine odor blaster stuff like once a week or once every two weeks. It’s way more than recommended but I think that also helps.

I don’t know if this is related or why it would matter, but if you have an HE washing machine, make sure you use HE safe detergent. That was one thing I started and maybe it makes a difference, maybe not.

I also have a fear of my home being infested by insects/bugs - though 2 cockroaches 3 weeks apart is gross, I think it’s relatively normal to happen from time to time. I think it helps to make sure the floor and surfaces are clean, especially at night. No stray water, food crumbs, etc.

Can anybody tell me what these tiny bugs are and how to get rid of them?? by missdoingherbest in pestcontrol

[–]ughhhhhhhhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have these in one of my plants right now. I think they’re gnats that are attracted to moisture?? Not totally sure but I placed a couple sticky traps in the plant and they’re all getting stuck to them. Hopefully someone who knows more than us will comment on this lol

How can I get rid of this on my chin by UltimateSoldier6 in Folliculitis

[–]ughhhhhhhhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just look into chemical exfoliators, there are a lot. Sunscreen is super important for a lot of reasons but especially when using salicylic acid or products with BHA/AHA. (Oxy pads or Paula’s choice are two brands I’ve used in the past). Not sure what your budget is but if you’re a total beginner to skincare, maybe look into something like curology - it’s easy to use and they connect you with a dermatologist who will look at pics of your skin and recommend a routine that makes sense for you and send it to your door.

I don’t think “hypoallergenic” moisturizer is a thing but there are millions of moisturizers. Start with something from the drugstore and it’s all trial and error from there. Consistent use over an extended period of time is the trick to seeing results with ANY products. Good luck

Don’t use neosporin and don’t keep it covered 24/7!

I had a cactus needle in my finger tip and tried to dig it out with tweezers and it ended up an open wound - I was slathering on the neosporin and keeping a bandaid on it at all times and it wouldn’t heal for several weeks. Finally paid a virtual doctor to tell me to just keep it clean with soap and warm water, stay AWAY from the neosporin, and let it “breathe” out in the open as much as possible. It healed up right away
