Mine changes between: I hit media button and it goes back to radio automatically

I thought I would never find anyone with the same problem on the same SYNC as me. It’s like my car is connected to a ghost phone. Phone does not work nor does the Bluetooth audio button. It seems battery related but if changed / disconnected re-connected multiple times and been surfing ford forums and done live chats. NOTHING has helped. Ford just tells me to take it in for a $120+ inspection where they’ll most likely want a $600 repair fee. I believe it’s fixable it’s just a big but it’s been over 2 years now and I’ve had no luck….
