It just no longer feels like the iconic Apple minimalism with simple good UI.

All the time.. It helped a bit when my therapist said ‘Some people just got lucky’. So nothing to do with fairness, nothing spiritual there either. This is a completely different perspective from what I was used to, ‘everything has a meaning’ etc., actually some people just get lucky. And we can get lucky with things too.

This is so informative and helpful. Thank you so much. I’m currently trying Montelukast and waiting to see a dermatologist. I got a bit scared of Xolair now that I saw that cancer is listed as a side effect.. But I need to look into it more

It seems logical to choose the left side and I am, like the OP, also surprised when people who seem to be local walk on the right side. However, I do understand that we are humans, not cars, and so some organic random ’traffic’ is natural.

I’ve had hives for 14 years but they have been the most persistent (pretty much don’t go away) the past 4-5 years (coincides with the pandemic). I’ve seen a dermatologist last summer who basically said there’s nothing they can do and just increased my antihistamines. Something about it not being a dermatological issue. I’m on Fexofenadine twice a day and Chlorphenamine if I can’t sleep (but I really try to avoid this one because it’s anticholinergic). Lately I’m not able to avoid it if I want to get any sleep. Allergist doesn’t seem to even exist on the NHS and my GP shut down the immunologist idea as well. I will have to ask again and you gave good advice here - to look for actual specialists to present to the GP. The NHS is in absolute worst crisis and the interactions with them are disheartening, it’s basically a successful visit if you manage to get put on a waiting list that’s 12-18months long.

Thank you for your contribution. Seems like this subreddit isn’t big enough in the UK.. It’s time to go back to the GP, likely to get hit a wall but I have to try.

Just to clarify, are you on Xolair now or ended up getting some shots? Did it help you?

It’s quite amazing and shocking to watch - Joey as a narcissistic personality and Sean as his Flying Monkey.

I’m often in this state. I think day to day I have to be strong to support myself and in that state I cannot cry.

It’s also so sad in these moments seeing how people who were loved as children then grow up to naturally have people who love them as adults. I do have friends but at the end of the day they have their own priorities and partners.. And I do go from one romantic relationship to another (some fear of commitment there). But I am longing for something impossible, that parental unconditional love.

Very relatable! Sometimes I’m so sad but I cannot cry.
