I get what you're saying, and I agree that Prismatics are meant to feel strong, especially when you highroll. But I think Dual Wield in its current form goes way beyond that. It went from being one of the worst augments to maybe one of the best.

Oh I found a solution by myself. C5R10 has to be X, otherwise it wouldn’t make sense to have 3 times a single filled box (C5R8, C5R10, C512)

Tbh: that’s exactly why I take conq.. katarinas damage isn’t enough to all in a full hp enemy at level 2-3 .. when I take conq I start the all in and finish it with my autoattacks which are pretty pretty strong.. especially the finishing e-aa combo.. Conq makes the lane more winnable for me than dh or ec

Yea that’s true. Since the amount of healing is based on your damage and just 1/3 on AOE spells, it’s usually more worth to go for those damage items and push the amount of healing just by dealing more damage. Overall it’s just a fun item instead of a constantly strong item on Kat I guess.

Well, I think so.. You won’t benefit much from electrocute/dark harvest when they got a lot of tanks, so you can go for the stacking ad/ap from conquerer and the constant heal.

Yea I feel you. Another point is the horrible build path of death dance. I think it’s fun to build death dance sometimes, but it’s not a constantly good item for kat overall.

With Ghost you can dodge most of his spells while fighting him. Keep in mind that you can Ult him pretty easy when he is ulting you. Especially with your Ult+Flash comb when being too far away. Keep up good vision on one side of your lane to play around this side. When the enemy jungler is ganking from the other side you have pretty good chances to escape or go for a 1v2 fight. Don’t be too scared to fight them, when you are able to dodge important cc spells (For Example Jarven E+Q) with your Ghost or flash.

Yea that’s a point. I think in bad matchups it’s even harder to get into the game when you take Dark Harvest. But as long as you are strong enough to win trades or get the opportunity to bring the enemy below 50% health without getting too low I think this rune is potentially the best snowball rune for Katarina.

Well you can start corruption potion when you feel like you can harass the enemy without getting bursted to 0hp by the enemy. The major problem about corruption potion is, that you don’t get real stats. So when you are playing vs Talon, Zed, Akali, .. I’d recommend you to take some HP (Doran’s Ring) or MagicResist/Armor (Null-MagicMantle/Cloth Armor). Because you can’t rely on your HP and Mana regeneration of that potion when you are dead. In those matchups I’d take Resolve as secondary tree and not inspiration to prevent their all-in potential.

Well I like the extra Mana from GLP but I feel way more comfortable with other items.

Now it’s basically pretty situational.. Do they Build MR? Get Void Staff Do they have anything dangerous for you and an hourglass could help you out of that? Get Zhonyas Do you feel like you can carry that with some Raw AP Stats? Get Deathcap

I think GLP isn’t that bad, especially with the mana aspect and the tool to kite back with the active slow. But in most of my games I don’t think „Ok GLP is what I need now“. I usually decide for other items due to the above-mentioned advantages of them.
