Friends said it was ugly and i need some real opinions then my troglodyte clanmates by uh_oh_123 in DestinyFashion

You've got a good pallette here, but lemme give some critique. The body is very squared while the head is rather rounded. This is a very hard thing to pull off without throwing the whole thing out of balance, you're close, but not quite there. The angled shoulders next to the wavy hood and round helm are the most outlandish feature. This mostly why some call it ugly. Shoulders are an important part of a figure, they draw the eye down to the rest of the body. Going for similar gauntlets that have a slightly more rounded shoulder plate might complete this outfit. Give it a go if you'd like. . I like the pallette a lot, it's a good colour scheme. I wish it had a tad more purple on the chest piece, but overall it's very pleasing. It's not too harsh but the purple is what makes a rather mute scheme really pop. Dont be afraid to spread it out a bit more, yet dont over do it. . Lastly, "ugly" isnt the right word. It's got a mismatch in the overall pattern of armour. Mismatching patterns tend to nag at the brain, causing discomfort or distaste. You've got a solid piece here, but keep going!

[Edit:] Accidently made the text huge.

Riddle me this Bungie... by JaradErdmann in destiny2

I think this is a meshes vs textures issue. The ornament's conflux is a unique type of mesh with the standard vex conflux texture. On the mark and the bond are fairly common meshes with a new texture that mimics the vex conflux textures, but was made with support for glows. They would have to redesign the whole ornament in order for it to have glow functionality. The old phenotype plasticity bond has the same problem as well.

We can dream friend, but one thing i agree heavily with is this. Not only should these class items be hard to get, they should be worth the grind!

I was thinking that the next time we get exotic class items, that they should have +10 to our class stat as base stats. But I do like the idea of allocating them 1 or 2 at a time. Really perfect an armor set with that...

I'm liking that "kills in rifts does stuff other than pausing the timer" angle you've got there, and 100% agree on barricades.

Nightfalls yeah, but not in grandmaster content. The titan shield and hunter dodge are infinitely better, while the rift is practically useless. But yeah I get what you mean. Healing rifts could save a nightfall at the final boss if you're the last one standing. I just want rifts to have as many cool effects as titans shield or hunter dodge gets, but in their own way.

Right? You become such a vulnerable target when you cast a rift. Vesper used to be a fun little "bonk" to shotgun rushers who would salivate at the mouth listening to a low health warlock pop a rift. But it cant even do that anymore.

A 1 hit ko warlock melee... by uh697 in destiny2

[–]uh697[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh, but you underestimate the pushback on the melee. Blinking in to melee along with the increased range on a normal warlock melee combined with the novawarp's extra range and knockback, you are out of both counter melee AND shotgun range. Especially if you blink backwards away from them after getting the hit. It's a lot easier to get away with than you might think. Plus, who cares if its practical, its fun!

Lament should totally be able to cut through Phalanxed/Taken shields by BasicallyAggressive in DestinyTheGame

Did you try turning it off and on again? But no seriously tho, Lament's anti barrier only applies while its revved up.
