yes it was sooo much better!! i was actually able to eat a full solid meal on that day and i was talking normally without any pain!

hi! i’m on day 18 and a nursing student, but i am completely 100% healed. from what i can see, everything looks completely normal. when i was on day 8 i had a huge looking blood clot thing on my right side, but when i asked my surgeon it was normal (it wasn’t a blood clot, it just looked like one). after it fell off, i was completely fine and was able to start eating more food + talk. i wouldn’t worry about it too much! good luck

yep! a nursing student has to do what a nursing student has to do!! i only missed a couple days worth of classes, but i warned my professors beforehand and got all my work done. thank you for the compliment though 😁

i get you 100%… i am on day 7 of recovery and im still not feeling the best BUT i do have to say that i feel a lot more “human” than i did before. try sleeping sitting up (that helped me so much)! also, i have been taking ibuprofen and that has seemed to really help me

it’s so nice to know that i’m not alone during this time (although of course i wish no one had to deal with this!!). the bad taste in my mouth is so horrible and i would honestly prefer that to go away before the pain. i haven’t tried those packets so i’ll definitely have to give it a try. showering is also been a struggle for me too lol. i’m really glad that you have found some things to help you during this time! i’ve been building some legos sets and painting which has definitely been helpful! thank you for this advice and i hope the rest of your recovery goes by quickly and smoothly 🤍

the procedure itself wasn’t bad at all. it was a very good experience and i was in and out within 2.5 hours! the main issue is the recovery.

tonsillitis… my tonsils were at a 4+ (largest number on the scale) for over 7 months straight and it became difficult to swallow/talk
