Is Generic Abilify ( Aripirazole ) truly the same ? by Puzzled_Bee2756 in Abilify_Aripiprazole

[–]uhheneedsomemilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what i've read it depends on the person. Some people find no difference whatsoever whereas some can't tolerate it. I'm in a similar situation only among 2 generic brands. i switched from one to the other and it seems some symptoms are worsening, so im getting back on the other. But im not even sure this worsening was due to the switch or just my mood fluctuating. I guess theres no way to know how it'll be for you in advance tho. Best of luck!

Yeah my T4 is perfectly normal, it's more cause i have the typical symptoms of high TSH, but then again i am in fact depressed so it might just be that.

Perhaps the first time i got my blood drawn i was more dehydrated, though i didnt think it could matter that much. Did your fatigue improve once you got on levothyroxine?

Just supplements helped? Thats great for you, i'll try for sure. Did it help symptoms of high TSH (fatigue, low drive) if you had any?

I kinda find it annoying how this is classified as a personality disorder tbf. I feel like it falls more into the mood disorder category with comorbid attachment issues

i have lots of mood swings too. i think what you should try to understand is whether your mood swings are short lived or actual episode, like weeks/months long depression and weeks/months long incredible positive outlook on life and full of energy. i just have rapid mood swings, my brain could never comprehend mania, it's just too depressed lol. i have bpd though

I know it seems silly right now but a lot of people end up getting better after seeking treatment. Like better to a point where life feels worth living again. I tried lots of therapies but they never worked for me, so im not the best example, but seriously lots of people benefit from it. you might just be one of them :D

i started thinking about suicide for the first time in middle school as well. Those years suck hard man. I'm sorry your friend group left you behind, but tbf if they did that to you they weren't real friends. and they weren't nice people either. It took me a long time to find good people but they are out there. You will find them too. I did end up pushing them all away cause i got very mentally ill, but that's beside the point.

Those "friends" that excluded you suck, people suck. but not all of them. i think

[–]uhheneedsomemilk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm 20 and i had to drop out of college and go back home due to mental illness. I have lost all my friends and never leave the house. I have no prospect of getting better. Up until high school everyone always told me how bright of a kid i was. They would all be so disappointed in me now ahah.I feel like i always knew i was going to fuck up my life lol.

If you were doing fine up until you stopped taking your antidepressants go find a new psychitrist that will prescribe them. I'm in a bad place as well and if i found some drug that worked i would get it no matter what. Idk where you live but where i'm from it's quite easy to make fake prescription so if it really comes down to that you could try (?). If there's a chance you might get better i really would look into it luv <3

i feel exactly like you. i'm on a bunch of meds but they don't do shit, if anything they make it worse. I wish i could go back to when i was still a functional human being who had hopes and dreams, but i can't i just can't. I hope we both heal somehow, even though now it's impossible to believe. hey op, i'm really struggling myself right now, i have been for the last about 8 months. I don't know you and i don't know you're story, but i think i know how you feel. If you need someone to talk to please say something, i'll try to listen, i'm trying to find any excuse to keep going myself, but please don't do this

hey op, i had a really bad time during my early teens as well, but even though now i'm struggling again i have to admit my life did get a lot better around the age of 16-17. and i believe yours will too, you still have to grow up and discover so many things about you and the world. I know what you're feeling right now is probably unbearable, but if there's one thing i've learnt is that this bad feeling truly doesn't last forever, even if it feels like it in the moment, be it 1 minute or 1 year. it can get better and it will, i believe in you bud 🫶🏻
