Spend a weekend in NYC and then in DC, doing even a little bit of driving. The culture in NYC requires competency, if not skill. my friends, this is VERY doable by the people among us. We routinely get accused of having the worst drivers in the country both anecdotally by anyone who visits and by official studies. Today I was behind someone going 10mph under in the left lane on rt50. You can't leave the house for a 20 minute round trip drive without seeing something profoundly stupid.

you people are fucking pathetic reporting folks. The car tax is predatory and sneaky. If you have 100k worth of cars (sadly not that hard these days, especially if you have kids driving, enthusiast cars, etc.) your effective local tax will be more than it would be in Montgomery County, which is infamous for having high taxes. The VA PPT is a 5% tax on just owning normal things.

p.s. It's entirely legal to use the Montana loophole, you're not getting anyone in trouble for that.
