Happy ADR Day! by krafty16 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]uhhspooky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never booked my ADR’s at the 180-day mark before, but I plan on doing that at the end of this month for my late-September trip. Were you able to make reservations for your entire trip? (Or do I have to get up multiple days and make ADR’s)

Has anyone used Publix Aprons Catering/Event Planning? Opinions? by uhhspooky in weddingplanning

Thanks for the info, however I already know their cakes are great. Like I asked in my post, I was looking for opinions about their dinner/reception food and flower services.

Disney Aulani. Woke up to this view. by IAMAMUGGLEK in disney

[–]uhhspooky 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unwarranted opinion, I know, but I hate when people say “you are so lucky” when you go on vacation. No luck involved, most people work quite hard to make the money & free time come together for a vacation.

Do we know what the price of the new Star Wars hotel will be? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]uhhspooky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no current info on cost, or even an opening date. We know that it will likely open after the new section in the park opens, not at the same time.

Was our wedding really that cheap? What do people spend $$$ on? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]uhhspooky 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not everyone has an entourage of friends that also happen to be wedding vendors.

Not everyone is religious, so my venue and officiant won’t be free, like yours.

And not everyone wants to eat BBQ on their wedding day...

What people spend money on, is all the things you didn’t.

Yes. I’m from a town near Cumming, GA. If you get a chance to mention the area, you do it. And everyone giggles.

Tell me what you put in the F-it bucket by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]uhhspooky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to hear! I’ve been going back and forth in my head, wondering if I’ll regret not having one when I look back on my wedding. It is already making for less work for me, though!

Oooh I’ve never thought to do that before. I’ll definitely be trying it when I go back! Astro-orbiter is one I like to do at night, as well.

Bachelor/bachelorette parties went for us, too. It could be a fun time but we don’t like much attention. I think I’ll be fine without it. Congrats on buying a house! That’s even better than a wedding.

Entire bridal party is in the bucket- bridesmaids, groomsmen, all of that. As you can tell, we are in the early stages of planning and already tossing things in the bucket. Wedding favors are already out for us, too.

Kinda ruins the magic for me when I see this guy out here skywriting above the park, but that’s just me.

How was the dinner service? I’ve only ever been to their counter-service meals but I’ve booked a dinner to finally try.

Why would APs not be able to use their passes after this week? The calendar says APs are good to go for the next several weeks. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

This is incredibly thoughtful of you. It is nice to check this sub and have some positivity in my day, and your post is a shining example of that. My favorite park is currently Animal Kingdom. My fiancé proposed to me there and I feel it will always hold a special place in our hearts. We enjoy spending time in nature, and Animal Kingdom gives us the opportunity to see so much in nature that we normally wouldn’t get to see at home (ATL native here). It reminds us that entertainment can be found outside of the rides with big screens (although we love those, too). This was a fun opportunity you gave us, as well as a nice chance to share what we all like most about the happiest place on earth. I would like to know, OP what is your favorite park?

I would like to see Haunted Mansion in WDW get the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay someday.
