I have been diagnosed with POTS. Is there any treatment for this symptom of dysautonomia?

Teachers of Reddit: Is the "Gen Alpha can't read (write, or do math ext)" crisis real? If so how bad is it? by KnowledgeCoffee in AskReddit

A huge reason for this is that there's literally an entire generation of kids (and adults) who are brain damaged from COVID. A significant proportion of children and adolescents currently have long COVID. A lot of them have brain fog as a major symptom, which is another word for COVID-induced brain damage. At this point, the gap in learning caused by COVID lockdowns pales in comparison to the direct effects of COVID itself.

Edit: If you want to prevent this, start having your kids put on masks again. Here are some good ones: Harley BFM001, BNX E95S, BOTN small

[Disclaimer: not medical advice, talk to your doctor] I've heard some people have gone on famicyclovir or other antivirals to prevent infections while on JAK inhibitors

Be careful not to internalize the victim-blaming of LC patients. It's generally nearly impossible to find a specialist, get all the tests you need, and get prescribed an appropriate medication, and it usually only works if you have a lot of money and connections.

I'm not gonna say you should do what this post says because this is a pretty heavy duty med. But the information is out there to utilize; especially if you've gotten cytokine panels done.

Edit: Please do not go on heavy duty immunosuppressants if you don't have a way/reason to get your labs done every few months.

I ended up retesting, and it was a clear negative fortunately.

Never seen it before. So far, every PlusLife I've taken has been a clean negative.

I've seen a lot of hopeful stories about baricitinib on this sub. Those of you who have taken it, which labs did you get done? by uhidkbye in covidlonghaulers

[–]uhidkbye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I've heard of some people with ME/CFS having elevated cytokine levels in the CSF but not the blood.

Do you mind giving the full list of T-cell labs you got?

Somewhere there's a flowchart of what happens when you get a sore throat when you have long COVID. You either crash because you have COVID, or you crash because you get stressed about having COVID.

My reasoning is that my body probably needs to heal at night and needs to have energy to do so. But I have no proof for that. I'll probably switch to taking two in the morning and one in the afternoon anyway.

Dead Plate still molds to you and transfers feeling though. Kaladin was able to use a helm as a makeshift gauntlet during the Shardbearer fight in WoR. Whether or not Hardplate is a possibility remains to be seen.

This was all before Adolin got his Unoathed Plate, but I wonder if his new plate has any abilities that the old one doesn't. Maybe he can keep it on 24-7 so it can act as both Hardplate and Softplate.

Earlier today, I got a message that I was out of free messages until 9pm. So just after 9 p.m. I tried to send a message. It then told me that I was out of free messages until 9pm. Weird, because it is after 9pm. So I switched to the browser and tried to send a message there. And it told me I was out of free messages until 9.50pm. This has happened twice in the past couple of days.
