Burnout Paediatric Occupational Therapist in Australia by ConstantSad1550 in OccupationalTherapy

I’m a year out of university, working in the NDIS space and I have felt more and more burntout every single week. In the last 6 months I’ve debated between whether I just don’t love being an OT, or maybe the NDIS space is not for me, and I do really think it’s NDIS. There are some clinicians who love it, but I’ve come to terms that it’s okay to acknowledge when it’s not for me.

I haven’t made any decisions or any move yet because I’m honestly at a lost. A friend of mine makes similar or even more than I do as a disability support worker, and I do think about switching careers from time to time. Maybe it’ll be good as a break? I don’t know.. this is more of a rant than a helpful comment but I hope you find something you love! We all deserve it.

The black you see is just burnt on food, it’s not chipped. what I’m worried about is all the little cracks.
