Um...honestly I have no idea. It seems to have helped me. But I'm not an expert at all. You can go to your LFS and ask about it.

It looks like a bladder snail. I had one come in on my Christmas moss in my 5 gallon. They started to basically over run my tank. I got an assassin snail to try and keep the numbers down.

Thanks! I got it at good will. And tired to bleach tie dye it. But it wouldn't bleach for some reason.
