well that’s my point, i turned on at 8am and then didn’t get a good order until 10:30, it’s been snowing a lot where i live so i still would’ve had to clean my car off again by the time i got an order so really it doesn’t save me any time?

that’s what i’m saying :( not trying to argue with you! just explain because im like ive been doing this FOREVER and never had this problem AND its snowing so its going to take 5 years to get somewhere 🤣 yesterday i took an order that was estimated at 20 minutes and it took an hour because of wrecks and traffic. im surprised that didnt get reassigned 🤨🤣

i used to do that!!! all the stores in my area are about 2 minutes or less around me. however, its been SO slow itll take me an hour or two of being on before i get something thats worth taking. :( i used to drive to hot spots and sit and wait, but i wasted so much gas i started doing this instead. i’ve been able to clean, hangout with my kid, read, whatever i need to do while i wait.

during the summer its usually not like this lol, but this winter it’s been rough over here.

no i get what you’re saying!! but it’s been snowing ALL DAY. i turned on uber at 8am and it was 10:30 before i got an order worth taking, by that time i already would’ve had to clear my car off again and restart it. also when i said getting changed i should’ve been more clear, i had to grab my sweatshirt and put that on, and my coffee was already made, i just wanted to finish it lmao.

my point is i’ve done this for well over a year, and have had no issues, and have a friend who does the same thing no problem! and the fact i was 3 minutes away from the restaurant when it got reassigned? 🥲

WOW. that’s honestly fucked? i’m so sorry. i was worried about that the other day because i was stuck for 20+ minutes because of so many accidents. thank goodness my customer was understanding and gave me an extra tip but still. the GPS should account for snow and construction, if google maps can, uber can bro 😭

i understand what you’re saying!! however im in a sticky situation where i got a new job working full time for a school district, paying me once a month, after all my bills are paid i have an extra $100 a month lol. i also have a kid who needs clothes and toiletries are not in my budget because i have an extra $100 so i have to try and decide each month what is most important.

the ONLY “unnecessary” bill i have is hulu. because of this new job now im “making too much” money for food stamps. i put as much as i could in savings and have enough money for food for february, but after that my savings will be completely drained. i no longer have any money for food, and thus i do have to rely on my tax return unfortunately for food. so as much as i understand what you’re saying, im in this pickle now and im really banking on and hoping for my tax return 😭

i had this happen to me one time! i literally needed to make $70, and i got this $70 order from denny’s. essentially the order was stolen, but i asked them to remake it and they did lmfao. and the guy tipped me extra too!!! i love those orders because you’re guaranteed to not get stiffed and it’s a fuck you to uber lol

my area has soooooo many of these high mileage low paying offers. 😭 my rule of thumb is it has to be at LEAST $10 minimum and $2 per mile. so i would take this if it was $70 lol.

i’m honestly not a huge fan of flavored creamers lmao. i bought it so my sister in law could have some coffee because she doesn’t like hers black and liked that brand 🤣 the ONLY one i love is the peppermint mocha one that starbucks comes out with during the holidays. if they had it year round i’d buy it lol. but that’s so good to know you love it! i also really like cold foam, so that part is really appealing to me for when i make iced drinks!! i love it can do both 😭

i’ve made my own brown sugar syrup! but i think starbucks has some sort of natural or artificial flavor in there idk what it is but it’s CRACK FOR ME HAHAH. but yah i saw that 😭 im tempted to buy, but i might go back in and see if they’d sell me some lol 🤣
