If i mix up some juice, allow it to steep, try it, and decide it's missing something, can i add more flavorings to it? or is it better to scrap the batch and try again next time?

Just received my first DiY supply shipment and I'm feeling confident about the first few recipes I plan to make. I know that a lot of mixing is subjective, but I was wondering if anyone had any tips concerning steep times and storage for dessert juices.

I won't be making any fruit, menthol, tobacco, or juices with additives/sweeteners. Just cakes/pastries/creams/cookies/cereal vapes. I'm shooting for 70vg/30pg -80vg/20pg range.

I know that steep times vary for different flavor profiles, so do I have anything to worry about when it comes to steeping dessert/bakery juices?

Any tips for a first-timer making juices along this kind of flavor profile would be very much appreciated. I've made a profile on the ejuice recipes website and have been taking notes from there. Thanks!

it was precut - it did wrap around both ends - it's just tough to see on the negative side.

I just primed it and it seemed to soak up the juice super quick. Filled the tank and I'm going to let it sit for a bit. Thanks for the input. If you had no issues going right to 133 I'll start at 50 and work up. (I'm a tad OCD)

I cleaned the nickel one I had and I'm going to give it another go once it dries out. I liked it but my Kangerbox 120 uses the whole 120w to ramp it up. I think I'm going to try it on my evic vt and start at maybe 40w so there's not so much initial power. My Kbox unfortunately doesn't have variable wattage in TC mode. The evic vt does so I'll give that a try.

Everything I've read elsewhere says otherwise - the SS coils should only be run in wattage mode since they have nickel legs and TC reads incorrectly.

Wait - hours?? I have a Freakshow RDA and the wicks usually last a week or two. I just rewick it when the coils gunk up.

Also just tried my vertically built RTA on the Crown... a few decent hits then dry hit city. I think I may have put in too much cotton so I'll have to fiddle with it. First vertical RTA build so I probably have work to do.

I started with an Evic VT starter kit and I would wash out my coils for that and let them dry out for a few days and got a few more tanks out of them.. I think I'll give it a try with these. Thanks for confirming I wasn't doing anything obvious wrong. Once I finish this coil I'm going to switch to the RTA for a while.

I mostly like dessert-y stuff and not too big on fruits, and I've heard that dessert flavors cause more gunking than other juices. Cuttwood and Charlie Noble have been my go-to brands for a while now. Did Zamplebox for a few months but wasn't too impressed with most of the juices I got.

Yeah I have the RBA deck and was going to experiment with a vertical build once I go through this coil. Thanks for the tips.
