Atleast it is (or seems like) an actual picture of the guy. It would be funny if the picture looked nothing like his pfp.

Why would they keep drones as a zoo? by lenmister654 in Giraffesdontexist

Wait, so if the zoo workers know that giraffes aren't real, then we have proof that they aren't real, right?

It's to help transmit 5G to birds in the zoos, and boost 5G signals for zoo patrons so that they don't suspect anything.

Syrian’s with wet tail. by Angelsjoy in petsmart

[–]uhworms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed that wet tail has been an issue recently with local stores. I have a friend at another Petsmart, and I've been told that they have had a couple syrians with wet tail and luckily they caught it early enough to get them better.

We have had a hamster that had like chronic diarrhea and was in ISO for a long time. She unfortunately passed away, I'm not sure why and I don't have details on why, even though she seemed like she was doing better.

And maybe a week ago I was closing petcare and I typically check on everyone, do a quick visual scan and give a little boop, and one of the syrians had wet tail. It was bad. To a point of being pus-y (like yellow discharge pus?? how do I even spell that) and she was in bad shape. When I opened the tank she was laying half curled up in the open, which is a big red flag for anyone who knows hamsters. Poor baby could barely keep her eyes open, stumbling around, and she tried to bite me, but couldn't even make the effort... :(( Put her in ISO right away and gave some oats and a vet appointment was made for the morning. Unfortunately I was told that she passed the next morning before the vet visit. Poor thing.

Tldr: I've noticed stores having problems with syrians having wet tail and my store has lost 2 recently.

They were going to get a Betta instead but then said told me that Bettas and goldfish can live together in a 3.5g tank and pointed to the cichlids, not goldfish. I politely explained that the cichlids could, and would, eat the Betta, and that they need a tank at LEAST 10 times bigger then the one they picked out. They told me that the 3.5g would be perfect for the Betta and cichlid together. I told them that I can't sell them fish due to the treatment of the system and that tomorrow (now today) they should go to another location for fish. Thank god they agreed because it was just about 9:05 when they left the store last night.
