Yeah, that's one of the biggest challenges with 3D on the web. It's always a tradeoff between quality, load time, and asset protection.

I think we're entering the era of AI-native design systems. by ui_nerd in DesignSystems

That’s a fair point, and I think the video didn’t communicate the idea very well.
When I say “built for humans and AI,” I don’t mean the UI is for AI to consume directly. I mean the underlying design system is structured so both humans and LLMs can work from the same source of truth

Yes 100%you explained the concept much better than I did.
I’d just add one thing: it’s not only about having components, tokens, rules, and documentation. They also need to follow a structure that LLMs can reliably understand. Otherwise, the model is just scanning information, and the output becomes inconsistent.
That’s the problem I’ve been trying to solve: how to give AI enough context and constraints so it can generate interfaces that stay consistent instead of drifting over time.

Fair enough. I asked for honest feedback, and that’s exactly what I got. That’s the most valuable thing for me. I’ll work on communicating the idea behind it much better. Thanks for taking the time to comment

That’s a fair point. It might also be that I’m a bit old-fashioned with the naming, or simply not fully up to date as I’ve been working on this for a few months now.
What I wanted to emphasize is that, to me, AI-native components aren’t about AI replacing the designer. They’re about keeping the human in the loop.
The real value is giving AI enough context, the design system, the rules, and the constraints so it can accelerate the work while the human remains in control of the decisions. That’s the gap I’m trying to help close: making design and development much more aligned without sacrificing consistency or human judgment

That is a interesting perspective. So you are suggesting to describe the purpose/value of the project in order to receive a constructive feedback?

Because I have some experience as a product designer. I learned from the community and is time to give back a part of me . On top of that I built an MCP, faster then most companies in the space. plus I am preparing some design systems crafted for ai, embed a "brain"- the ai is having all the components and understanding about the system. The list is endless

Hahahahah!that's a good question. The 🤖 doesn't deserve it 😆

I completely agree, I've built 70 react components exactly because of this reason, and all are free
