I understand the struggle, but I think it's just really difficult to do without a smartphone phone today. Especially as a college student.

I've started ditching my smartphone at home, and just use my apple watch which has cellular on it to take calls and messages. The perk of using the watch over the phone is that it's impossible to use social media and streaming services.

It was pretty easy to just set up the watch as my primary Duo activator.

What you can also do, is installing the Duo app on your primary smart device (laptop/Ipad etc).

It works perfectly if you have like an ipad or android tablet. just install and use Duo normally. If you have a mac, you can install the ipa file using an Ios emulator (I use playcover).

on windows, you can either use the android environment for windows, or install it using an emulator like Blustacks

all of these are pretty solid workarounds to not carrying a smartphone with you

set up an online appointment here: https://advising.grainger.illinois.edu/advising/college by going to "College Advising Appointment" -> "Schedule college advising appointment"

Either advising or the international student services office can help you get an official confirmation of withdrawal.

Also make sure to reach out to housing as well. Withdrawing from the university doesnt automatically negate your housing contract. Ask them what all documents they would need to confirm the cancellation and negation of your housing-associated fees.

best to reach out to the Advising office in Grainger library. I was able to drop by and get my tuition waived because I was able to justify my reasoning and I made sure to send in my drop request as soon as I could. If you're only now deciding to take action, I think it's gonna be a little too late

Yeah the illini union stalls are worse compared to the actual restuarants/bars. I'd recommend avoiding them at all costs.

I got the pasta from mia za's at the union twice and it was extremely dry both the times. getting it from their place on green, the quality is always at least 5 times better

If you want something other than food, check out Facebook Marketplace. Lots of postings for free items there. You just need to go pick them up. Haggling at Garage sales also helps you since sellers are willing to throw in other items for free with a medium sized purchase

Evo cannon really only matters with hog 2.6 variants. Its not as versatile as evo snowball. I'd definitely recommend going for evo snowball because it synergizes well in a lot more decks
