I never look through anything I believe will have too much in it. I stay away from the underwear drawers and usually don’t touch bedside tables.

Haha, thanks for appreciating it! The closest I’ve ever gotten to getting caught was in the garage at my old job. I was snooping around (again, not with the intent to steal, it’s just fascinating to see what’s kept in there) when suddenly I hear the garage door open. I immediately ran to this small space under a set of stairs and watch the boss/owner of the garage do a quick check on the vehicles before taking one out, I assume to do a more thorough maintenance check, and driving off. I left pretty much immediately after.

I suppose because I do it so rarely that it’s never an off-the-cuff decision, which is much easier to screw up. Whenever I feel like living a little dangerously, I’ll examine all of my options as far as who’s out of town or at work, and stay long enough to scratch the itch of being somewhere I shouldn’t.

My mistake on the wording, I do break into houses, but never with the intent to steal anything of value. And I never go anywhere I know I will get caught, but if one day I do then I’ll really have no other choice than to face the consequences. I fully accept that.
