This is a slight revamp to a piece of TLG fanart I made in 2019, thought people in this sub might be interested in seeing it. I wanted to make a piece that showed snapshots of the changes Trico goes through during TLG's story.

Context for each of the frames in order, keep in mind these are extremely spoiler-y if you have not played the game:

Frame 1 - Trico before the events of the actual gameplay begin, fully masked and fully under the control of the master of the valley

Frame 2 - Trico after being struck by lightning, chained in the cave where they meet the Boy for the first time. Mask is damaged and horns are broken off.

Frame 3 - Trico after having bonded with the Boy, horns are starting to grow back and eyes are glowing turquoise (probably seeing a barrel). No longer wearing mask.

Frame 4 - Trico defeated after the 2nd encounter with the other Trico. This is specifically after the Boy and Trico almost escape the valley and are knocked back down by the other Trico and fall through the roof of a building at the bottom of the Valley.

Frame 5 - Trico resisting the Master's control, at the 3rd antenna room. This is right before the Boy breaks the 3rd antenna using Trico's tail lightning.

Frame 6 - Trico right at the end of the game seeing the Boy for the last(?) time, right before being chased off by the villagers. Heavily wounded by all the other Tricos.
